The Inn at Turkey Hill Fine Dining Restaurant Profile Blog- Final Draft

You may be wondering, what's the best place to eat in Bloomsburg? Well, it's the Inn at Turkey Hill. The interview on the cook and restaurant was gathered from the main chef from the Inn at Turkey Hill, which is a Fine Dining Establishment. There was a variety of questions about his daily duties and experiences cooking at the restaurant. There's a variety of fancy and delinquent dishes this upscale establishment. Going into the interview it was slightly rushed because the boss was busy preparing for an extraordinary day of cooking. He had a very Suttle tone and was inciteful. He's been at the establishment for 10 years. Alot of staffing has changed since then Shawn the cook implied, he said the kitchen staff and servers have come and go, but the cooking and policies haven't changed. He's been there for a decade and loves his job he added. " There's many thing I enjoy about my job, and I love cooking and people enjoying my fancy cuisines," Shawn exaggerated.

He enjoys the family atmosphere, and the in person reviews he gets from customers. "Anytime I get told my dish was good, it makes me feel very confident in my cooking" Shawn stated joyfully. However, there aren't always amazing days on the job. Many times, parties of 80+ people will come to the establishment to have company dinners, etc. He remarked distraughtly "that can be a giant pain in the ass, but it's worth it as long as the customers satisfied. I also like how the environment for customers is upscale, and fancy." Ever since I started working there, I noticed the unique atmosphere and ambience of the restaurant. There's nothing quite like it, it stands out compared to other restaurants, there's truly nothing like this experience, and atmosphere in any other food place.

There's a variety of fancy dishes, and cuisines to be cooked at the fine dining establishment. Shawn expressed "my favorite dish to cook is grilling and fancy meats like steak, pork chops, or salmon overall I really enjoy grilling." However, he doesn't enjoy scrambling eggs, or really cooking any breakfast dishes. "I was never a fan of cooking breakfast cuisines."

Within the dining industry a lot of changes usually happen to establishments over the years, but at The Inn at Turkey Hill nothing within the restaurant policies have changed. Shawn proclaimed- "The only change was the owner's daughter is now becoming the full owner of the restaurant". Over 10 years, there's been a good bit of staffing change, but the establishment has run in the same family for 42 years and the loyalty is unmatched. It's also very unique that the place operates as a hotel for guests to eat at, and other people in Bloomsburg just go here to eat. It's very luxurious and upscale.

When cooking there's always room for improvement within your techniques, and traits. Shawn uttered- "I could be more versatile in my cooking methods and know how to make more of a variety of cuisines. As a cook, even if you've been doing it for 10 years, there's always room to improve and learn new methods". Since he has been here for 10 years, I assumed there had to be a core memory that stuck out to him since he first got the job there. He stated- "My friend Colton used to work with me and he was always amazing; we'd have such a great time working together and it was always a lot of fun".

The main cook Shawn has been there for a decade. He's a very great person and an outstanding cook. The business Inn at Turkey Hill is all about loyalty, and being good to employees. Overall, this is a great business, and everyone is extremely generous. If there were a statement to be made it would be this: Shawn makes some of the best food anyone has ever had, and I hope everyone in Bloomsburg goes to this restaurant to see how truly extravagant and amazing it is.
