Hello! My name is Peter Martin and I'm from north New Jersey. I came to Bloomsburg University because I like their education programs and the location is much quieter than where I'm from. I'm majoring in secondary education for social studies.

I've always loved teaching children; during the school year I'm a preschool teacher and over the summer I work at a camp with kindergarteners. In my free time I like playing videogames, cosplay, and reading. I hope to become an 8th grade social studies teacher in the future after graduation! Even though I love working with little kids, they can be a bit much in a formal classroom setting.
I have a good amount of experience working with children and young adults. During my senior year of high school, I did an internship at my local middle school under and 8th grade history teacher. I was able to assist her with teaching and gain meaningful experience in an active classroom setting.

Hi Peter!! I also have a lot of experience working with children and young adults. I've been a swim coach and have 85 kids that I instruct.
ReplyDeleteHi Peter! I also have experience working with kids, I taught dance at my local studio. I think it's so amazing you were able to do an internship at your local middle school!
ReplyDeleteHi Peter! I also love working with kids! I worked at a daycare and I totally get how they can be a bit much. That's awesome that you're majoring in secondary education!
ReplyDeleteI found your background in education very interesting! It seems like you already have a lot of experience, I'm glad you've found something you're so passionate about. I love the costumes in your photos too! I'm also a cosplayer and frequent conventions when I can.
ReplyDeleteI love the cosplay pictures. I have a feeling that you're going to really enjoy the fandom project later this semester!
