Hello Everyone!
My name is Ava Braun and I am currently a freshman here at Bloomsburg majoring in nursing. I am also in the nursing learning community as well. I'm from a small town called Fleetwood, Pennsylvania. No one really hears about Fleetwood, but once I mention Allentown, PA and Reading, PA the light bulbs go off. Fleetwood, Pa is in between both Allentown, Pa and Reading, Pa.
Fun facts:
- I obtained my CNA certification at 17 before I graduated high school. It was truly one of the best decision I could ever make at a young age! I started working at a Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center right after obtaining my certification where I mainly worked on the Rehab side.
- I've danced for 15 years! I studied a various of different styles; Ballet, Tap, Modern, Contemporary, Hiphop, Pointe, Acrobatics, Jazz, Broadway Jazz, and Lyrical.
- I was also a dance teacher at my local dance studio for 4 years. At the studio I taught various styles of dance which include Creative Movement, Acrobatics, Ballet, Jazz, HipHop, Contemporary. I taught from the ages of 3 to 15.
- I have 3 dogs named Bella, Star, and Otis and 1 cat named Cali.
- My best friend and I went on a bunch of day trips for a week straight this summer instead of going on senior week.
- One thing I learned about myself is when i'm stressed I like to color or go on a really long walk and listen to music.
I think it's very cool you danced for 15 years! I tried dancing for a few years, and I was never really any good. I also really like that you have 3 dogs, I am a huge dog person and I have two labs.

ReplyDeleteGirl, you're so cool! Dancing for 15 years, teaching, and getting your CNA at a young age are such huge accomplishments! You seem like a very productive and hardworking person. :-)
ReplyDeleteI love that there is a town in Pennsylvania for literally anything you could think of. Also, getting your CNA certificate while you're a high school student while still keeping up your dance is absolutely insane. You are so talented! I would love to see your cat Cali, I have 10 at my house currently and they are a handful.
