Who Am I Blog



Hi everyone! My name is Peyton Koons and I am currently a freshman nursing major here at Bloomsburg. I am also apart of the Nursing Learning Community and I recently joined the Red Cross Club and the Student Nurses Association here on campus. I grew up in Mountaintop, PA which is a small town only about 45 minutes away from Bloomsburg. I live there with my mom, my dad, my two brothers, and my dog.  






A little bit about me is that I love listening to music, hanging out with my friends, going to the beach, and watching movies. I also love all animals, especially my dog! 




A fun fact about me is that I have played the piano for over 10 years! I used to hate going to lessons when I was little, but now that I'm older and know how to play it I'm so thankful that I stuck with it. Another fun fact about me is that I played lacrosse all through High School. I loved the sport and made so many great friends on and off the field through playing! The last fun fact about me is that back home I work at a daycare! I've always wanted to go into the healthcare field which is why I chose nursing, but working at the daycare showed me that I enjoy working with kids and inspired me to consider working as a pediatric nurse!
